Dear Void,
I’m back.
I recently enlisted the services of a professional writer–I’m taking an online class. He has advised me to reestablish my blog, get that dang website of mine up and running, and improve my overall web presence, hence my return to blogging.
Why was I missing in action for so long?
I went back to school and earned a degree in IT.
Was I writing novels during that time?
Some.
The good news is this: I completed my novel, The Doorlands, through its 6th draft and turned it in to my writing coach last weekend. I’m writing a new book called (tentatively) FLESH BLOOD STEEL, which I started for NanoWriMo. I’m not going to make it to 50,000 words in the next three days, but I’m loving this story so far, and that’s all that matters to me. I’ll finish it by the end of December.
